Another must-see is the Stoanerne Mandln stone figures, mystical stone cairns that sit high on the Tschögglberg mountain — a place of legends, magic and sweeping views.
Culture lovers will be delighted by the many churches and chapels on the Tschögglberg, such as the little St. Kathrein Church in Avelengo/Hafling, the Parish Church of St. Nicholas in Verano/Vöran, the Parish Church of St. John in Avelengo and the St. Oswald Chapel in the Merano 2000 hiking area.
